In this blog, we’ve got two Tenner winners, so there are double the tips to help you win your first Tenner game!

Tenner Super Predictors #3 and #4 - Lewis and Gary Devine

Lewis and Gary were two of eight winners on our Liverpool vs Leeds game on 12th September 2020! That meant the £50 prize was split 8-ways, with each winner taking home £6.25.

Which correct answer from your winning game were you most happy with and why?

Lewis: Leeds to get 2 or more shots on target. I feel this question is a good stumbling block because everyone assumes Liverpool are indestructible and Leeds may be tentative first game in the Premier League but it was the easiest to predict for that reason.

Gary: When will the first goal be scored, purely because it was Salah and he’s in my dream team

Where did you watch the match / where were you when you won?

Lewis: I just watched the match on my phone at home, cheering on every time Liverpool were rubbish.

Gary: I watched the match at home on the TV.

What did you spend your prize money on?

Lewis: I’ve been quite boring with the prize money and just put it towards a takeaway.

How long have you been playing Tenner for?

Lewis: This was my 8th game with Tenner as I just stumbled across it via Facebook.

Gary: About a week before I won

How often do you play Tenner?

Lewis: Since I signed up I haven’t missed a sporting event no matter the sport.

Gary: Every competition. It’s free! Why not?

What’s your favourite sport to predict on Tenner and why?

Lewis: It’s probably the basketball as it is more stat oriented so you can have a real conundrum over what to pick.

Gary: Football because I have more knowledge on the sport.

What’s your top Tenner tip for anyone who hasn’t won a game yet?

Lewis: Just keep playing eventually it’ll land in your favour and be patient with your extra lives. Use it on an event you are pretty confident that you can predict the outcomes.

Gary: Keep playing, and use your life carefully on the app.

What’s your favourite thing about Tenner?

Lewis: It’s free to play, and there are so many different sports to choose from. You don’t even have to be an expert on the sport to stand a good chance with your predictions.

Gary: The fact it’s free, cash is paid quickly , the ability to use an extra live and still win something.

Who’s your sporting hero?

Lewis: My sporting hero has always been Rio Ferdinand. As a fellow centre back he revolutionised the position and was an amazing player.

Gary: Dean Windass
